A Footnote from a Stalker

I had a felling .... i noticed the look ..... the wag of the proverbial tail. It invited a look, a closer glance into an unknown world ..... unchartered land....... an attraction of the unknown :)

At that time i knew for fact i had to follow the path... the trail. the feeling was slow and steady.......

It was the running and hiding cliche again...... and then the time came for  letting the prey have a false acount of self belief of "safety".
Call me old fashioned


But its thrill to avoid getting noticed for those few moments gives all the pleasure you seek ... and
when u emmerge from the uearthly shadows and surprise the innocense out of the timid creature..........

you get the feeling of Archimides jumping out of his bath onto the streets...and makes you say these words .............

"my pleasure !".

The Pre Classic of "True Red"

While  Spain is boasting their Biggest match of the season, a clash among arguably two of the toughest opponents in Europe Real Madrid and Barcelona..... the Classic.............  its a food for thought for all man united or liverpool followers can we give a name to the hatred we share among us.

You have the distant 80's when u were suppositely good, we ruled the 90's with often small threats from
economical frenchmen for a joust.

In the first decade of 21st Century when we were still at the top and we matched your count of league titles you were busy faltering in midtable.

Last time i checked you guys could not go pass the wolves and since you dont walk alone please remeber we have another date comming up when u can walk with another loss as company.


Let the  unnamed " True Red " rivalry continue or can it be a "Pre - Classic".

When did the idea of India as a Country come?

Before the term india was coined ..... there was this group of people living in the land of 5 rivers.
They had one flamboyant idea to find the one thing that relates the people who live between the himalayas and the land that goes into the sea.

Initially they found it difficult to strike a note with indigeneous people. The Effort they gave was more on the side of force that pleasant discussion.

They were unable to come to a standpoint from where they can decide a common path with the aborigines.

Then came a devine intervention.


They heard the story of an old king who ruled the land and was a well known figure.

They said he was the one who laid the laws of the land.


So the group of people started the search for the tru existance of the Old King.



According to the folk tales, the king came on a Ship to this Country since his world was destroyed by giant waves.

His name was Manu.

According to the teachings of Manu the people of this landed started mended their lives, his ways became their ways and when he passed away , his son was the sole ruler of the Land from Himalayas to the Tip where the Peninsula Ended. His name was Bharat.According to legends he ruled the country for years and those years were the most prosperous time for the Land.


From that point  on the group of people thought that they will honour the great king Bharat who unified the Land and made it into one.

From that day on...... India the land beyond the mighty Indus got its first name, the idea of it as one country came.


It s been ages after that ..... in the year of 1857 when the folks from East India Company gave the reigns of their empire to the Queen of England India was made into a country under one power.

A unification that caused such a turmoil that the Queen and his pompous handymen had to leave the place for good although they did plunder the country of its riches and led to the formation of the county today we live in.

Although the Idea came centuries ago, It camr to execution about 3000 years later.

As we see todays leaders again sticking their thumbs in breaking into as many micro regions possible,new uprisings of squashed minorities in extreme parts of the country, i just wander how those groups of people will feel now who saw this land as together milleniums ago.

The Reason For Now

Being a ardent follower of football , to me the time is here when INDIA finally take the step forward towards developing as a foodballing nation. Not undermining the value of cricket my fellow indian brethren should now devote a little sum of their money for betterment of the sport not only in football hotbeds( Bengal, Goa, Mumbai** nowadays).

For years now our under payed and scarcely played unsung heroes of india died in vain , fore mostly not recognized or working socks of on clerical positions in government/ semi government offices.

I urge to corporates, media tycoons, or any football lovers in general to come and be a part of this game that can and will change the face of the planet. On this one field let us work for a better future.
